Along the Coevorden-Zwinderen Canal – just outside the built-up area of the beautiful fortified city of Coevorden – lies the VosseHoeve, where a cozy resting place has been set up. Vossebelt 2 is situated directly opposite the atmospheric, no longer operational, lock with its clean water. You can not only take nice photos there, but also enjoy good fishing; but that is for the enthusiast. A spacious, easily accessible parking lot has been arranged on the grounds of the VosseHoeve. There is also ample opportunity to park bicycles.

At the Rest Stop (Rustpunt), a beautiful natural garden has been created where there is much to see and experience. There is abundant wildlife in the garden, including many species of insects and birds, hedgehogs, and squirrels. Who knows what you might spot.

The Rest Stop is part of the company Zonnegeluk (www.zonnegeluk.com), which sells more than 75 varieties of homemade (flower) jam, using as much fruit from its own garden as possible. Every flavor is unique and cannot be found in the supermarket. Let yourself be inspired by all the fun and tasty jam ideas; jam isn't just for spreading on bread! In addition to jam, there are also various types of honey, lots of jewelry, clothing, and many other items available. While enjoying a nice cup of coffee or tea with a treat, we invite you to take your time looking around. Of course, it is already a delight to relax for a moment in the sunshine on our large terrace after your lovely bike ride.
